At Kenet, quality control is part of the production line. Our in-house laboratory works with devices accredited under ISO/IEC 17025 and keeps records for each production lot.
Tests performed
- Tensile and proof load test: Tensile machines of 100 kN – 1,000 kN capacity per ISO 898-1
- Hardness: Vickers (HV 10) and Rockwell (HRC) hardness measurement
- Metallography: Decarburization, grain structure and forging flow-line examination
- Coating: Coating thickness by X-ray (XRF), salt spray (ISO 9227) 240 – 1,000 hours
- Hydrogen embrittlement: Post-baking checks on galvanized class 10.9 and 12.9 products
Certificates
An EN 10204 3.1 material certificate is issued for each lot; on request, tests with an independent inspector (TÜV, Bureau Veritas) are made for a 3.2 certificate. You can look up your certificates by lot number on our website.
