DIN 931 Hex Bolt (Partially Threaded)
Partially threaded hex bolt with a shank that carries shear.
In DIN 931 / ISO 4014 bolts the thread covers only a defined portion of the end; the plain shank carries shear at the joint surface. Thread length is set by b = 2d + 6 mm (L ≤ 125 mm).
